Terms of Service

1. Scope and Ingestion Boundary

TranscripNusantara provides specialized software for indexing, searching, and extracting timestamped text transcripts from supported YouTube videos.

YouTube-Only Boundary: The Service accepts supported YouTube URLs exclusively. We do not host, store, stream, or accept raw customer-uploaded video or audio files.

2. User Content and Warranties

When you submit a URL for indexing:

• You represent and warrant that your access and use complies with applicable copyright laws, research exceptions, or express rights granted by the content owner.
• If using Google OAuth for channel-level caption access, you warrant that you own or are an authorized administrator of the connected YouTube channel.
• You agree not to use the Service to process unlawful, defamatory, or malicious content.

3. Credits, Billing, and Top-Ups

• Credit Metering: 1 credit covers up to 600 seconds (10 minutes) of media duration, charged strictly as ceil(duration_seconds / 600).
• Entitlements: Unlocking an item grants your account active library access. Future searches and timestamp lookups for that item do not consume further credits.
• Non-Refundable Consumption: Credits consumed to process or unlock content cannot be reversed or refunded once processing completes.
• Payment Processing: Top-up purchases are processed via Mayar when commercial payments are enabled. Commercial payment access is not yet live during the current Beta / Pre-launch stage. Future unused-credit refund requests will be subject to operator review and payment processor fees.

4. Third-Party Services and Licensing Distinction

The Service depends upon Google APIs and Scrapingdog transcript endpoints.

Licensing Distinction: Scrapingdog's contractual permission to TranscripNusantara to store and redistribute returned publicly available transcript data does not constitute official YouTube authorization or platform approval. Users and TranscripNusantara remain bound by applicable laws and platform policies.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass credit accounting or database security policies;
• Engage in automated bulk-scraping of our API outside documented agreements;
• Implement CAPTCHA bypasses, proxy rotations, or malicious network probing;
• Resell or redistribute the Service without commercial authorization.

6. Intellectual Property

Third-party videos, channel names, and transcript contents remain the intellectual property of their respective creators and rights holders. TranscripNusantara claims no ownership over third-party material. The software platform, branding, and interfaces belong exclusively to [COMPANY_NAME].

7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ACCURACY OF EXTRACTED TRANSCRIPTS OR PERMANENT AVAILABILITY OF THIRD-PARTY APIS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
